Anti Brahmin ramblings are not new to TamilNadu. The cowards of Dravidian political parties have been resorting to attacks on Brahmins as the community is known for its tolerance of even ruthless violence. There is still a controversy going on in Srirangam, the constituency of TamilNadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha. A small hotel named Krishna Iyyer Cafe has been targeted by a group still clinging to the idiotic ramblings of EV Ramasamy Naicker the founder of Dravidar Kazhagam, a group propagating atheism. EVR Naicker is a man of controversial lifestyle.
When he started his magazine Kudi Arasu, Mr. Naicker sought blessings from the pontiff of a local Hindu Mutt. He introduced himself as ailing from Kannadiga Balija Naidu caste and a pious Hindu. Yet he advised others against seeking blessings from religious leaders and against revealing ones caste and Hindu religious identities. EVR Naicker spoke and wrote against young girls being married off to old wealthy men, but he himself married a 26 year old girl at his age of 76. Reason given was choosing a trustworthy person to take care of the Dravidar Kazhagam's property after his lifetime.
Well, in Tamil Nadu we have commercial outlets in the name of all castes. People belong to social groups open their establishments in their name and eventually include their caste in that. Naidu Hall, Thevar Hotels, Iyer hotels, Marriage Halls in the name of different castes etc which run their business without any issues. The Dravidar Kazhagam which is now put out of the limelight has chosen to raise voice against Krishna Iyer Cafe following the group time tested practise of opposing only Brahmins as they won't hit back hard.
When there are shops and hotels with the name of every caste group, the reason behind attacking only Brahmins is that they can be taken for granted. They wont retort violently even though they face violence. But the owner of the hotel has made his stand clear that if the statue (bust) of EVR Naicker in front of the Srirangam temple is removed, then he would take the Brahmin affiliation from the name of his hotel. What is the necessity of the statue of a proclaimed atheist in front of a temple?
The DMK Government in its carefully designed practise of maligning only Hinduism has targeted Hindu temples and devout Hindus with the ramblings of EVR Naicker. The Dravidian politicians have carefully avoided churches and mosques with their atheist questions. Reason is obvious. Church controlled votes and fear of Fatwas.
Well, there are other controversy involving famous Brahmin individuals. People opposed to actress Janani Iyer using the surname Iyer, but the same people didn't dare to oppose the films named after different castes. Now they have targeted Chinmayi an Iyengar girl, who sings playbacks in films and involved with the entertainment industry in myriad domains. The problem has reportedly started with Chinmayi expressing her reservations over the caste based reservation system in the Government.
Chinmayi was also asked to tweet against the killing of Indian Fishermen by the Srilankan Navy, but the use of the tag was objectionable to her since many of the politicians were being bad mouthed through that. Her tweets were twisted back and forth with photo trimming software to make up the screen shots of tweets in an attempt to prove that she tweeted apathetically to the killed fishermen.
She and her mother were dragged into nasty virtual abuse, which would make any person who has respect for his mother vomit. Interestingly the person indulged in such dastardly tweets has been an Assistant Professor. Think of the quality of the generations such people generate! The outcome of education being character, this person puts his character in a coffin while setting up the standard of the institutions he had studied with under a cloud of suspicion. Chinmayi had given a police complaint and the cyber crime department has arrested the Assistant Professor.
Some have now started to talk about freedom of expression and supporting the accused. Is freedom of expression a permission to pass below the belt and between the thighs comments against people who someone doesn't like? Had anyone resorted to such practise against that Assistant Professor, will we have the Freedom of Expression invoked?
The comments, starting against Chinmayi and her mother, has been extended to the whole Brahmin community. "Freedom of expression" has gone to an extent where that guy has posted opinions sounding that all Brahmins must be eliminated and all Brahmin women shall be raped. This goes on further. If such expressions denote freedom, then slavery is much better!
Thinking about this aided with some historical facts, such designs and thought process have a semblance to Nazism. The Jews were persecuted with the same sadism and savagery. The very mention of their name was considered taboo and their progress was scuttled fiercely, in the name of German nationalism. Here the same happens to Brahmins in the name of Tamil nationalism.
The Tamil Language has been used by the Dravidian parties to target Hindu religious setup, whilst valuable contributions to the language has been made Brahmins and Hindu religious leaders. Whereas the contribution made by Dravidian political leadership, when drilled down, proves to be ramblings of unstable minds.
Well, the Dravidian parties speak of social apartheid against a particular caste group, and such practises are being carried out by people of different castes. But the Dravidian gang with a rubbery backbone targets only Brahmins who indeed do not practise such apartheid, fearing violent reactions if other groups are targeted. The Dravidian political parties have never had a leader from the down trodden social group, despite their tall claims that EVR Naicker had worked all his life for their development.
This EVR Naicker is famous for his lament against textile price rise. He attributed the reason for the textile inflation to women of the downtrodden caste wearing jackets. We have the official DMK mouthpiece Murasoli putting up a cartoon against Mr. Naicker on such utterances of his. The Dravidian politicians are well known for their corrupt practises we have many instances where they have washed their dirty linen in the public.
Well, the lies of these Dravidian political gang has been a wonder of having a faily long span of life, since the Brahmins chose to ignore them. Now that we have Brahmins started to lose patience against unethical abuses and immoral insinuations, we can soon expect these liars shutting shops and vanishing from the political and social sphere. As the lies are not fabricated by brilliant minds, they cannot stand against the attack of brilliants.
Yes. Timeis nearing for the DK/DMK bas***ds. They will become a defunct political party soon. (Already DK has become)
ReplyDeletemr.arunambie,
ReplyDeleteafter going through your blog, i came to the conclusion that you are not a right winger in the political school of thought but you are a wrong winger..
even though dravidian parties are corrupt and they use caste card for their political benefit but this should not be taken as an excuse to justify revival of vedic culture and its language. Tamil society has been reeling under casteism, materialism, extremism.. you type of people just adding fuel to the fire. I have been disturbed on seeing the conflict between different castes in tamil nadu. Brahmin's cultural domination and the subsequent cultural and linguistic imperialism made periyar and other caste people to raise against us.
Many tamil scholars disturbed by sanskritisation of tamil language. parithimarkalaignar(suryanarayan sastri) was a good example. i dont wanna give comment about ur blog bcz ur r from southern district. but it seems u r a brahmin. bcz my parents r brahmins but i dont want to be a brahmin. i wanna be a tamil free from those prejudiced beliefs, blah, blah, blah... i came to know that tamil carnatic music had been entirely sanskritised and the traditional tamil dancing had been sanskritised as natya.
i'm disturbed by the conditions of tamil culture and tamil land where people r polarised in the name of caste, aryan, dravidian, hindu, christian, muslim...OMG!!!
i no longer wanna carry my caste identityand i drew flak from my family and relatives for removing the so called holy thread.. but education made me thinking rationaly and it also induce me to protect tamil land
//you are not a right winger in the political school of thought but you are a wrong winger..//

Read பெரியாரின் மறுபக்கம். you'll get to know the other side of this man.
//Many tamil scholars disturbed by sanskritisation of tamil language. parithimarkalaignar(suryanarayan sastri) was a good example.//
Good joke....
//i dont wanna give comment about ur blog bcz ur r from southern district.//

Learn English grammar properly and then start writing comments in English...
//i came to know that tamil carnatic music had been entirely sanskritised and the traditional tamil dancing had been sanskritised as natya.//
Where is the evidence?
//i no longer wanna carry my caste identityand i drew flak from my family and relatives for removing the so called holy thread..//
Its your choice. I care damn whether you're a Brahmin or not.
//but education made me thinking rationaly and it also induce me to protect tamil land //
Joke again.... ROTFL!
Lets ignore the DMK fools and use our caste surnames.
ReplyDeleteI see you repeatedly use Mr. Naiker? Lets do away with this caste shit shall we? And for once lets not play the victim too. I see crores of Tamils not sporting their caste names in their names these days while I still seeing iyers and iyengars? what da?
ReplyDeletearun, dont fall for the bullshit of these new age idiots.
ReplyDeletewe should start carrying our surnames again, these guys ll do nothing for us.They ll keep repeating about no caste, etc etc bullshit.

ReplyDeletePeople of all communities in Tamilnadu have been brainwashed for the last one hundred and fifty years that they have lost the analytical power. Tamilnadu is torn between Hinduism and Dravidinism. In the initial stages of Dravidianism there was exodus of only Brahmins from Tamilnadu. However when exodus have become regular featurefor all communities for Pan Indianism and trans nationalism everybody wants Dravidized Hinduism without which Tamilians fear that they will be houndweeked by others. Though as a result of decline of Chola power Tamilnadu had become barren and with about forty percent of people in Tamilnadu belonging to Andhra a fact that is hard to digest there is no escape from Dravidianism. For political ideology Ramayana will be at receiving end but people unmindful of dichotomy and hypocrisy people will pose themselves to worship the same Rama whom they despised in political arena as per astrology. Brahmins should reconcile themselves and prepare themselves for ultimate vanish and only curse our fate to have taken birth in Tamilnadu and lead an intellectual nomadic life fully based on probability theory. It is no use in blaming Dravidinism because the so called national parties betrayed not only us but their own selves and Tamilnadu will continue with its dichotomy and hypocrisy abusing Hinduism and going to temples as per astrology since astrology is no barrier to anti Brahminism/Hinduism.
ReplyDeleteIt is a matter of concern that for the last one hundred and fifty years people have been fooled with false hystery resulting in self desperation. In the whole of the world only the Tamil Brahmin community comprising of all sects and subsects have suffered the greatest insinuation which our leaders in the freedom movement without fighting betrayed us. The so called ills of Hinduism cannot be ascribed in Tamilnadu to Tamil Brahmins since after the collapse of Chola empire and invasion of Malik Kafur Tamilnadu became barren and with forty percent of people of Tamilnadu are of Telugu origin Dravidian theory/pure Tamilism is the greatest joke. Even during East India Company the Dubashis did not belong to Tamil Brahmins. It is only after 1840s that Tamil Brahmins emerged as the most successful ethnic group. It is a curse that Tamil Brahmins were unnecessarily apolegitic. The national parties betrayed us. Nobody feel shy of utter intellectual dishonesty in abusing Hindu Gods and going to the same Gods on the advice of astrologers. The religion in Tamilnadu is DravidoAstrologism where one can despise and indulge in blasphemy and unabashedly going to temples of Gods they had despised. This is due to the fact that the original Dravidianists did not envisage exodus to globally where for sheer identity and escape from hoondwink you have to don the mask of DravidoHindu for pan Indianism and transnationalism. We can only curse our fate for leading a life of intellectual nomads with fear psychosis and ultimately vanish from Tamilnadu/India which is the final liberation.
ReplyDeleteI am very constrained to say that for the last one hundred and fifty years people have been fooled by maglomaniac rhetorics of Brahmin greatness/Tamilian greatness/suppression of Tamil by Sanskrit etc., etc., One should ponder over the question the anti Brahmin sentiment originated in Maharashtra and fostered in Kerala. However still in Kerala inspite of Marxian Secular rhetorics the Government does not want to tilt the applecart when Namboothiris of Guruvayur Temple refused to budge but prepared to hand over the temple. The hierarchy of Tamil Brahmins is not so socially upgraded as that of Maharashtra or Kerala. But for Sivacharyas/Bhattacharyas all the Tamil Brahmins were intellectual vagabonds for the last six hundred years from the collapse of Chola empire and invasion of Malik Kafur.Because of structure created by Cholas even during wandering from place to place they were able to maintain their independent culture. The so called leaders of Independent movement though belonged to Tamil Brahmins betrayed the community by not vehemently opposing intellectually defrauded Dravidian movement. They were satisfied with contribution of Trinity to South Indian music. While forty percent of present population of Tamilnadu being of Telugu origin and collapse of original structure with the invasion of Malik Kafur and large influx of cross country population from Srilanka and shores of Kerala the high talk of Dravidianism is mere humbug. Even now Tamil Brahmins are so meek that they don't want to identify as an independent community of having glorious civilization of two thousand years maintained at odd period but prepared to go along with Aryan protagonists of coming from Indus/Narmadha or meekly submitting to Dravidianism. I can only curse the fate for making a community as intellectual vagabonds without any self respect or gratitude to the great Tamil kings and one day it will vanish in thin year if that be the will of God.
